Birds of a Feather
Painting the Bird in Pastel
Join us this Thursday, via Zoom, as we share our paintings of birds! From peacocks to roosters, and every bird species in between, hear from fellow pastel artists who have tackled "Birds of a Feather!" Learn how to capture the beauty of this subject and the many techniques and surfaces available to paint birds in pastel.
Following in the "claw"prints of our recent workshop with Julie and Michael Freeman, who showed participants how to paint exquisite and detailed feathers, this discussion will help you capture that special "Aves" subject you have always wanted to paint! Be prepared to share your own bird art!
Themed Thursday is an opportunity for all of us to paint together in our studios in a relaxed manner. You can work on whatever you like or follow along with the chosen theme of the evening. You can paint, interact or simply watch. Whatever suits you!
Join with the Zoom Link. The Passcode if needed is 212151.
(The Zoom is limited to the first 100 people to sign in.)
P.S. If you would like to be a guest demonstrator for a future Themed Thursday meeting, please email us at info@pastelsocal.org
