Join us at Sailboat Cove!
Located along the west shore of Puddingstone Reservoir at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park.
Ready to try your hand at painting snow-covered mountains and a lake? (Assuming we get some precipitation!) Even without snow, the scenery is gorgeous.
There are plenty of trees and picnic tables along the shoreline adjacent to the parking lot with restrooms located between the upper and lower parking lots.
Parking fee is $12, $5 for seniors 65 and older, or disabled.
Getting to Sailboat Cove is a little tricky. Please follow the directions carefully.
From the 57, exit east on Via Verde Drive. Pay your admission fee and keep heading straight. At the third intersection, turn left (shortly after Eucalyptus Drive). There will be a long parking lot on your right, and a road that goes to the left. Go left. This will take you under Eucalyptus Drive and will then curve north. As you head north, the road will parallel Raging Waters Drive. Watch for an old sign on the right for Sailboat Cove. Turn right a short distance after the sign and stay right to enter the lower parking lot. The entrance to Sailboat Cove is 0.6 miles from the Eucalyptus Drive bridge. (If you’re feeling lucky, you can try taking Raging Waters Drive straight up to the Sailboat Cove entrance. However, the gate is usually locked.)
