We will be featuring a demo and optional mini-workshop by our featured artist, Carol Talley. She will demonstrate her strategies for abstracting the landscape.

MINI-WORKSHOP INFORMATION
Abstracting the Landscape
This workshop will show strategies for abstracting the landscape, especially on location. I will give examples of how to zero in on one element (color, shape, gesture, texture, tonality, pattern) and exaggerate it to move away from realism toward abstraction. Photos will be provided, or attendees can bring their own.
Time: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. following the General Meeting
Cost: $40
The mini-workshop will have a limit of 12 participants. Registration is offered to members only via a direct email. If the mini-workshop does not fill, it will be offered to the public here.
