Plein air painting on the beach with fellow artists from the Pastel Society of Southern California offers a unique opportunity to capture the serene beauty of the coastal landscape. The morning light casts a soft glow on the rock formations, waves, and sand, inspiring creativity and camaraderie among artists as they work side by side, discussing techniques and sharing insights. As the painting session winds down, an optional lunch awaits at the Beachcomber Restaurant, where artists can gather to reflect on their experiences, enjoy a meal, and strengthen the bonds created through their shared passion for pastel art.
